Think twice! November 3, 2008 N. Amis (Surrey, UK) I bought this product after reading the above 2 reviews and regret it! The idea of a nightlight is so that you can have this on and not the main light. I bought this while I was still breastfeeding my Son so that I wouldn't have to over stimulate him in the middle of the night by turning the main bedroom light on. But this nightlight shines bright colours then it goes red and you can't see a thing, a real pain if you are trying to get your baby to latch on or even give them a bottle - you end up poking them in the eye!! If I still had the box I would have returned the item. Think twice before buying it but the seller was fantastic and offered a very fast and efficient service.
Too Bright. October 16, 2008 G. Ayres (South Wales) The positive is that my 3.5 year old loves it and uses it to find his way to the bathroom at night. The downside is that it's too bright and changes colours (it would be good to have the option to leave it on one light constantly). I also believe the brightness wakes my son up prematurely as he enters lighter sleep in the early morning.
Ridiculously over-priced September 13, 2008 C. Bond (South UK) 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
This little panda looks very cute and his glowing tummy is very comforting and gives a good level of light for a little one's bedroom. BUT.... it is tiny and badly bad. Our panda had wonky eyes and one wasn't attached properly so I imagine in no time he will be a one-eyed panda. My 2 year old naturally fell in love with him the minute she saw him and wanted to cuddle him when she got up in the morning. After less than 24 hours though, his furry coating on his nose has gone! I think a product which is recommended for 10 months+ should be more robust! Also, he has a rounded bottom and is hard to make stand up, and the socket for the charger is on his underside so when he's being charged up, he has to lie down. on top of this, the on/off switch is minute and not easy for an adult, let alone a child, in the dark, to operate. I think that an 8 hour battery life is too short as well- most young children sleep for longer than this so while it might help them get to sleep at night at this time of year, it's gone off by morning. I'm sure there are better designed, better quality products available for this amount of money.
Buy the rabbit June 19, 2008 J. King (UK) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
We love this rabbit so much! our baby loves it too...it's so relaxing and funky. I think it's one of the most original gifts we received on the birth of our baby and we've since bought another for our friends.
too bright- but sweet June 15, 2008 M. Smith (Bedfordshire) It should be dimmer as its a night light, and there should be a function to stop it changing colour and stay on the colour you like- I thought it might even wake the baby up when changing to the lighter colours. My 2 year old mainly likes switching it on and off, but maybe it will have more appeal when he's a bit older.
