Not Bad at all April 2, 2001 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This Book explains the ceramic sculptures of weird dinosaur like creatures found in the early 1940s in Acambaro "Mexico". Still controvertial today, these 33,500 sculptures are not on show for the public. Although thought by experts since the find, that is was nothing but a hoax, the sculptures have been dated on many occations to around 6000 years ago. Still to this day the find is treated like a mine field by archaeologists, who simply will not comment on the matter. You see many of the sculptures portray man co-existing with Dinosaurs, and if proved correct could re-write history. Did the Dinosaurs die 65 million years ago in a mass extinction? It seems not. The book also shows many species of animal thought to have been extinct over 100 million years ago, that still live to this day. Many sightings of dinosaur like creatures reported yearly worldwide are explained, such as the Loch ness monster. The only downfall about this great book is that it is too short and contains too many pictures. But hey, if you like lots of diagrams and pictures you cant go wrong. I simply could not put this book down.
