Thought provoking approach to the ills of animals November 29, 2001

An attractive volume, liberally illustrated with colour photographs. I bought this book with the intention of having it around to dip into, but with the first dip I found myself reading it from cover to cover. Don't be put off if you are not into animals - energy therapies equally apply to people, and encompasses the mind as well as the body.
As someone who worked for many years in an animal rescue centre I was particularly impressed that the author touched on advice against breeding, so as not to add to the already thousands of unwanted animals, literally dying for a home.
Whatever your thoughts on alternative medicine, and whether you decide to embark on that option or not, the insight on offer will provide much food for thought on the assumptions about animals and people on which we base our daily lives.

I found this book by Clare Wilde to be an open, honest and clearly written account of natural healing methods. Clare takes you through some very heartwarming and inspirational case histories. This book is an essential for any caring pet owner who is interested in caring for their pets in a natural, holistic and loving way.
