I can't believe I spent a tenner on this! I had anticipated a book about journals rather than an actual journal with blank pages, but that wouldn't be so bad if the paper was of better quality - not this thin yellowish paper that can't take felt pen, let alone paint. Other Keri Smith books are better, and of lovely quality too. Grrr.

I love this book. It's such a lovely idea. If your a journal making boffin then don't bother, but if your looking for a bit of a giggle, some short creative exercises and an all round kick up the bum in terms of getting in touch with your creative side, then this is an excellent choice. Keri Smith is brilliant. Buy and benefit

What a fantastic book! Clearly the first reviewer was bitter about something. This book is great as an unblocking exercise and for anyone with a creative mind. Or anyone who wishes they had a creative mind! As a result of buying this book, five of my friends have gone out and bought it (for themselves and their friends!) as they loved it THAT much! When I have a bit more money I'm going to buy more copies for my friends because it's great! This book focuses on the need for play and how, by playing, we are able to release our creative energy (although, it doesn't actually say that!). This is not a book for you to read and then put on your shelf - you cannot be passive with this book. Marvellous! I recommend everyone has one. Well, clearly not the person who wrote the first review! So I recommend it to everyone who likes to play!

This has got to be easily the biggest waste of my money ever. For those of you who take your journal work seriously, this is an insult. Things in there like:
Climb up high and drop the journal!
Draw with glue!
Poke holes in this page using a pencil!
I should have realised when it came in the post and it is only a small paperback size with really cheap paper inside. So please, under no circumstances buy this book you will be extremely disappointed.
