Take the short time it takes to read it May 17, 2004 Shaun Croft (Switzerland) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is an easy book to read, beautifully illustrated and to be recommended for any age group. It is based on a dolphin called Daniel Alexander, who is seen in the eyes of the other dolphins to be obssesed with wasting time surfing the waves. He however has seen that they are the ones who are lost, concentrating only on catching fish, always the same daily routine, afraid to change what they see is the only way of living. Daniel Alexander Dolphin finally leaves the familiar reef to go in search of his dreams and ends up showing the rest of the dolphins how important it is to keep these dreams. Without them, he shows how little value their lives can have. It is a breath of fresh air with a few home truthes.
