A challenging view on the status of children in society September 6, 2001
US psychiatrist Peter Breggin has a long track record of opposing non-consensual treatment in psychiatry. Here he lays out his blueprint for a more child friendly society in schools and other institutions. Although some of the ideas are a bit utopian, nonetheless the book is good for challenging assumptions on work v home priorities and relationships with ones children, and I certainly recommend it for anybody in possession of an open mind.
