EFT simply explained March 14, 2006 shelly 13 out of 13 found this review helpful
I have been a 'fan' of EFT for a while now, and have sought to explain the tehnique to friends. This book is a great help. The technique is explained and detailed instructions are given. I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in EFT for self-help, and as a guide for introducing others to the technique.
Useful in therapy and in personal development. January 11, 2006 21 out of 21 found this review helpful
I first came across energy tapping (EFT) through NLP work. I was highly sceptical, but I have now used tapping myself to elminate severe heel pain after walking and I have seen it used on others. It does work ! I can certainly vouch for it working with physical pain. I can't vouch for emotional problems of depression, weight loss etc but it is worth a try. This book is well written and clearly explains how to use the technique, though the comments on how it is supposed to work are vague and unconvincing. The book is good value and definitely worth buying if you are involved in therapy, or if you want to give it a shot for personal issues. Nothing ventured, nothing gained and the price is good. Give it a go !.
Excellent Self Help Book April 9, 2005 Mrs. C. Cousins 25 out of 25 found this review helpful
I found this book brilliantly written, easy to understand, easy to follow and very practical in the way it has been laid out. I was able to practice the techniques throughout the book and unable to put it down until I finished it. It has the right balance of science, technique and information to the lay person and is one I would recommend to anyone who wishes to improve their life by getting rid of old, outdated emotions and negative behaviours and phobias.
what a great book for emotional problems. January 15, 2005 23 out of 24 found this review helpful
I loved this book, it was easy and simple to read, which is what you need when you are in emotional turmoil and do not have the energy or the inclination to fathom a book. It taught me what I needed to know, and it helped , I felt calmer and more self contained. I do not understand how EFT works , but it does, and I am one of lifes skeptics about many alternative things , but this therapy is somthing else and this book gives a simple and clear introduction to using it.
Don't be put off by the title - it's powerful stuff! October 30, 2003 27 out of 28 found this review helpful
I must have bought at least eight copies of this book by now. It's an extraordinarily powerful technique, which can be used at so many different levels, from clearing superficial daily anxieties to phobias, addiction etc. The authors have done a good job of thoroughly explaining the technique and then outlining some of the different types of problems it might be used for and possible ways in to those problems. Suspend your disbelief and have a go!
