Well written, the author speaks of those emotions we feel after the suicide of a loved one and how to deal with them.
Healing After The Suicide Of a Loved One May 22, 1999 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I read this book a few weeks after my son took his life. It helped me deal with and understand the trauma all suicide survivors must deal with and continue to deal with. I highly recommend it!
Excellent reading for those suffering a lost to suicide December 5, 1998 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This book provides similar stories from other survivors of suicide, which enables the new reader to identify with the same feelings and emotions. Losing a loved one to suicide is the most gut-wrenching pain any one could ever experience, and this book addresses those feelings, emotions, and struggles that the survivors are left to face after the loss of a loved one. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who has lost a loved one to suicide......
Good book for survivors of suicide March 22, 1997 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I bought this book to read because of my struggle to deal with a friend'ssuicide. When I began reading it, I realized that I was not alone in the experiences I was having. It seems to be written more with the needs of the family in mind. I wish it had addressed the needs of friends better.
