A great story firmly anchored in the real world November 7, 2006 Dr. Philip P. Christie (Waterford, Ireland) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
If you like reality in your stories, where you can identify with not only the characters but also the situations, the emotions, the aspirations, the hurts, the losses, the ups and downs, the epiphanies, the breakthroughs and the joys, then you will thoroughly enjoy this book. Read it and feel it!!
What A rollercoaster!!! October 29, 2006 Noel Lackey (Ireland) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Wow, what a read, you will be dragged into the world of Marianne and along the way will tear your hair out at Derek's antics but you will also stop and see yourself staring back at you when you least expect it, this is a MUST read for all men and women alike, you will not be able to put it down and like me will plead with the author Esme for Part 2 of the story.
Fantastic October 18, 2006 M. Seiler 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Participating in Marianne's life-journey I found myself alternatively laughing and shouting "What are you doing??" - until I realized that Marianne's escapades were so silmilar to my own! Definitely a journey of self-discovery - on so many levels! I would most definitely recommend this book and guarantee you will not be able to put it down. Can't wait for the sequel, Esme!!!
Page turner January 24, 2006 Joe Daly 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
A facinating journey into the life of a woman searching for answers, love and purpose. The author pulls you into her world that one cannot help but think is very close to home. Featuring some amazing characters, some tragic, some funny and one just tragically funny! Quite an emotional read of self discovery. Excellent read.
