Fat Flush Plan June 13, 2004 Mrs J Clark (Scotland) 15 out of 17 found this review helpful
The book is good, talks a lot of sense BUT it is nigh on impossible to get cranberry juice that the brands that they recommend, even trying to find similar is a difficult task since cranberry light is not acceptable. The sugar substitute is not available here either. The flax oil tastes disgusting (made me gag) and you will spend a small fortune buying all of the pills that are needed to help you in the program. I've tried quite a few of the recipes, those that I could actually get the ingredients for and wasnt impressed with any of them. The ingredients are too difficult to source and the recipes not conducive to family feeding, this book is definately not for every day mums.
Tough for a few days but it's worth it! December 8, 2003 24 out of 24 found this review helpful
This plan is not only perfect for someone wanting to lose weight in a short amount of time but also perfect if you want to detox and refresh your body (like me)! Everything in this book makes sense and although at first the daily plan seems complicated after a couple of days you get the hang of it! Days 2-5 were really tough for me as my body was chucking out all my toxins - I felt grotty and my skin was bad but it was definitely worth it as after day 5 I felt full of energy, my skin was glowing and I can honestly say I now feel great (plus I'm nearly a stone lighter!) If you can put up with a few days of suffering then this plan is really worth doing.
A high-protein diet that's healthy too! December 8, 2003 Louise Parker 16 out of 18 found this review helpful
Having been on various high protein, low carb diets 3 times this year, and each time putting the weight straight back on after each time I was told about this new diet and thought I'd give it a go. Although fundamentally it is also a high protein, low carb plan it is far more healthy, and involves lots of fruit and vegetables which I missed on other high protein diets. In just 2 weeks I lost 9 pounds but even better than that I seemed to lose inches off my thighs and bum - areas that I have always struggled with before. 3 weeks since doing the diet (I did for 2 weeks) I have not put a single pound back on!
THIS BOOK CHANGED MY LIFE !! December 1, 2003 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
Being a typical man, I need to be managed strictly. This book tells you what to do and why to do it, and if you follow it you do lose weight. I lost over a stone in the first two weeks. Although it's a hard plan to stick to, if you do you'll feel brand new!
