I found this book to too Americanised to be really useful to British people. British Cholesterol levels are measured in millimoles per litre of plasma, USA measurements are milligrams per decilitre. So it's difficult to equate our 5.2 to their 200 etc! Also we measure food in grams or kilos - the book is all in cups (?) or US ounces. It also contains only US Brand names and US food outlet chains that we just don't have in the UK.
It has some interesting background information but thats available freely on the internet. Overall I'm disappointed in this book and wouldn't recommend it unless your an American.
