5 out of 5 stars A Perfect Page Turner.   December 6, 2007
Ryan (London, UK)
This book is everything you could want from a childrens Sci-Fi. It's funny, hugely imaginative and has a twist that even surprised me, a seasoned parent of 3. What makes this book really special is it's environmental theme that will educate adults and children alike. It's great to see someone has finally done the responsible thing and included children in the whole 'green' issue. Well done to the author, can't wait for the next episode.
Oh, and by the way, my 12 year old and twin 8 year olds loved it to!

5 out of 5 stars A Top Rate 'Green' Sci-fi For Tomorrows Adults   December 5, 2007

A brilliant work of children's fiction. As an adult who enjoys all types of fiction I thoroughly enjoyed this fresh, feel-good page turner and I loved the unexpected twist in the tale! What makes this book so unique, and essential reading for all our children, is it's GREEN THEME. There is an abundance of 'green' information for us adults out there, but no-one seems to have realized that it is our children who are going to make the biggest difference to our planet. This book combines a thrilling sci-fi adventure with a very important environmental message. It even taught me a few things I didn't know about our environment! I guess this little gem is ideal for about 8 to early teens. I hope this author produces more of the same as my three girls are already clamouring for a sequel!

5 out of 5 stars A gripper of a story, leaving you with a smile   November 10, 2006

A truly well written story. If you're looking for a book to lift your heart up but yet still keep you reading on then this book is well worth the effort. The storyline is light and refreshing to the soul but not detatched from the world we live in now. Not a book for people wanting to wallow in tasteless muck, this is a book that puts children as the main characters in a way that is upbuilding, entertaining and shows realistically what it's like to be a child with hope and character, something that we could all do with remembering.

Set in our times and on our planet, it is a gripping story about a group of children from another planet that come to help mankind with its many problems. Although classified as science fiction, don't think it's bogged down with loads of mind numbing technical stuff to put you to sleep. The story is about the children and it's aimed at the child we all still have inside us.

Parents wanting their children to have a good read without polluting their minds would be hard pushed to find better material. Children, if you have an imagination and want a story that you can relate to with characters that are as real and funny as yourselves - then read this book.

Look forward to the sequel.

5 out of 5 stars Great fun to read with a green theme!   June 20, 2006

This book is a lot of fun to read and once picked up it is difficult to put down! There is a strong environmental theme throughout the story, encouraging kids to think more carefully about what they can do to help the environment.

Lots of laughs and imaginative ideas such as the alien globe ringers landing in your local car wash. Can't wait to read the sequel!
