The only cook book you really need September 2, 2008 Carrie (Manchester, UK) All the reveiws can't be wrong....and they aren't. This simple book is truly fab. So many different recipes packed in between its pages. Easy to follow and lots of tips in addition to the recipes. It will now be the cornerstone of my kitchen.
The BEST cookery book EVER August 13, 2008 Ms. M. L. Moreland (UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I just received my new book (above title) and am positively drooling at the mouth. The recipes seem extremely easy and very tasty and I cant wait to try it, especially the meal planner bit.
Extremely useful book July 23, 2008 B. Davis 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is a great book for people who need to feed a family and are running low on inspiration. There are lots of dinner recipes in here (including a veggie section) and a selection of "quick fix meals" for when you are in a hurry. The book would be useful to a beginning cook because the recipes are very simple and not at all intimidating, but would also be useful to an experienced cook because of the sheer number of ideas. A more experienced cook could easily adapt the basic recipes with herbs and spices to make them a bit more sophisticated and exciting. I think this is a book that I'll be using a lot.
AMAZING May 26, 2008 J. Sinyor (London) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
this is an incredibly good book for everyone; I'm a vegetarian but there were plenty of recipes for me anyway. A very good buy which I highly recommend.
I can cook!!! May 22, 2008 Ms. H. Braid (England) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
I have very little money, a tiny kitchen, a few saucepans (that have lost all their non-stick!) and no fancy gadgets, I don't even have a garlic press! So this book could have been written for my family. Its excellant, plenty of fantastic tips and no nonsence recipes that my boys loved and didn't leave behind a mountain of washing up! This is great book for anyone who already loves cooking, but especially for those who think its easier to shove some turkey twizzlers in the oven!
