5 out of 5 stars It's a quality hard drive   November 17, 2008
Mr. N. J. Henderson (Coventry, England)
Seagate's budget hard drive, this 120gb version, is excellent value for money.
I use mine perfectly fine for storing my intunes music and video folder, and this has no trouble with that, and runs perfectly fine on windows XP.
It's looks might not be for everyone, but it's a hard drive for crying out loud, if it allows you to store the data you require then do it's looks really matter??
It should be said however, that this drive gets its power not from the mains, but from two USB ports.
That means if our PC is a little slack on these then you may want to check out an alternate mains operated device, but most modern PC's have at least 3 USB ports these days.
All in all, an excellent quality device, Seagate are a very reliable brand.
I would recommend this to anyone.

5 out of 5 stars Nice Unit   October 18, 2008

Integrates well with Vista. Had it for about 4 months with no problems. Only 'drawback' is 2 USB leads (1 for the light). Recommended.

1 out of 5 stars Absolute rubbish DO NOT BUY   August 27, 2008
Mr. M. farmery
It took this pathetic excuse of a hard-drive about 1 month to start causing problems, the lead barely fit into the port in the back of the harddrive and the slightest movement stopped it working. Then after a while i had to hold it in the port for it to work. there are obviously problems with this product because when i took it back to the shop the sales rep told me they had received a number of similar complaints and had taken most of what they had sold back.
Seagate are the worst company to deal aswell if you are uk based do not call seagate they have a rediculous packing requirements if you want to send the product back to them and never mind the 30 it cost me to get in touch on their super expensive 008 european line, that is if you can even get in touch with someone.

5 out of 5 stars Nifty Drive at Top Price   August 13, 2008
P. Kerr (Scotland)
Got this HD as I'm a small external HD fan. All computers (XP and Vista) have no probs finding and running it. Works a treat with iTunes and runs fines from a USB Hub. For less than 40, its a steal and better value than a flash drive.
