Unreliable with Palm Tungsten T November 6, 2008 Mr. Paul G. Barnett
This device is unreliable with (either of 2) Palm Tungsten T running Soaringpilot. either drops bluetooth connection, or looses satellite view after a few minutes. works ok with a standard laptop though. I subsequently bought a (used) holux 236, which works perfectly.
Not disappointed... October 15, 2008 Mrs. J. E. Cox (West Midland, U.K.) After reading such excellent reviews, I decided to purchase this receiver.I have to say that I have not been disappointed. In fact, it's just brilliant. I, also, have a Nokia N95 with a rubbish built in receiver and, after trying for about three months to lock onto satellites, I gave up. This external receiver found satellites within seconds even indoors. Would recommend this to anyone thinking of buying one. It's well worth the money.
Just perfect! October 10, 2008 Ioannis Papadopoulos 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I rarely comment about the products that I am buying but this case I think it's worth to mention it. This product is perfect. I am having signal almost anywhere and the battery life is very good. I have tested the receiver in 4 different GPS programs in my mobile phone (Nokia E51 - S60 plattform). The potition was very accurate and the signal was very strong in all cases. I am suggesting this product to all new potential GPS receiver buyers.
The best gadget August 22, 2008 The CynicalDoctor (UK) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I was looking for a GPS reciever to use with my HTC S620 Smartphone. I use it with Live 7 Software for Windows Mobile (UK & Ireland) (UK & Ireland) on the phone. It took minutes to set up and "just works".
Straight out of the box August 3, 2008 grahamh (Kent, UK) Worked first time with BlueNext's tiny USB BT dongle in the laptop, and works with my SE M600i. Gets a signal anywhere and battery life is amazing. The 4 star rating is only for techies: the manual is crap, so if you want to do clever things with it you need to be a detective. Start by downloading GpsView off the BlueNext website. If you are not a geek and just want a GPS that works - get it.
