A Bargain December 29, 2008 Gareth Earl Griffith Compared to what they charge for them in elsewhere these were a real bargain. The sound quality is great and after a bit of practice they fold up reasonably well.
Improved over time November 29, 2008 Mr. A. Turner 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I looked at a few reviews before getting these, and the reviews i looked at were 5*. I purchased them from amazon and looked at more reviews, several saying that the bass was terrible. I nearly cancelled my order, however i decided to give them a go. CAme throught the post, straight onto my laptop, and what dissapointment. The bass was terrible, treble was really tinny. I left my laptop on with some music and went downstairs for dinner, watched a bit of tv, then came back up, i listened to the same song which i had already listened to and i was blown away. For the price and size of these headphones you can get no better. Only 4* though because there is slight sound leakage, and i have got some funny looks on the train because of it.
Good sound and loud bass November 21, 2008 P. L. Barnaby (Birmingham, Westmidlands United Kingdom) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
The people who gave these heaphones one star must have brought broken ones as my PX200 works as good as the PX100, but I say the PX200s are better than the PX100s and they sound brilliant in an iPod.
what a load of kak November 18, 2008 george (london) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was totally amazed at how bad the sound quality were from the PX200s that I sent them back straight away. I will reinforce what others here are saying...the PX200s lack bass, and the reproduction of the mid and upper frequencies are poor. DO NOT BUY THEM!!!!
Beware of fakes November 14, 2008 C. Burlington (Bristol, UK) 2 out of 6 found this review helpful
I have a pair of genuine Sennheisser PX200 headphones and a pair of fakes brought from this website. Fakes can be spotted by the following: No hard plastic carry case; there should be a "1" and "2" on the folding arms of the headphones to show you which to fold first; the depth of the speakers, on real Sennheisers the actual speakers are thinner (1.5cm) on the fakes they are 2.0 cm. the cusions come off easily from the fakes and the hole in the middle is smaller (1.5 cm instead of 2.5cm diameter). The main tell tale sign however is the price. If they are selling for 13.50 instead of 30 something then they are probably fake.
