Product Description I think it s vitally important to keep my eyes on the road while driving. So when I heard that Pama had developed a Bluetooth kit which read out the number of the person who was calling me got me all excited. You ve got to admit that it s both functional and very cool. Better still it does it in 5 different languages Beyond this nifty feature the Pama Beta is everything you d expect from a Pama Bluetooth Sun Visor Handsfree. Conversation was clear and I was able to be heard perfectly well even on a noisy road surface thanks to the noise suppression. Installation was very easy and took literally seconds simply slide the clip into the bracket on the back of the Beta and clip onto the sun visor. Summary A fully featured Bluetooth Sun Visor kit continuing Pama s long line of success in the handsfree field. Great for motorists who require a handsfree kit with all the latest developments and it looks pretty snazzy on your sunvisor too Key Features Talktime Up to 10 hours Standby 130 hours Audible Caller Announce feature available in 5 languages Caller Number Display Range 10 metres Echo cancellation Two possible text orientations for versatile mounting options Pairable with up to 4 phones Package includes Beta Handsfree unit in car charging cable adjustable sun visor clip

Pama/Nokia 6300 July 18, 2008 Mr. Stanley Freemantle The reception was very good, but on outgoing speech there was a constant buzzing noise. I changed the unit for another one with the same result. I tried my old Nokia 6100 with the same result, so if you have a Nokia approach with caution. I cannot find out why this happens, Nokia were no help, neither were Pama.
Fantastic piece of kit! April 28, 2008 Guido (London) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
After getting fined for using my phone while driving and seeing a similar unit in a friends car I bought this visor mounted unit. Reading other reviews I chose the BETA, its the latest model from Pama and has echo cancelling and noise reduction that the others don't. People had complained about this on other model and Pama recommended the BETA. Very easy to set up, My phone connects automatically when you get back into the car providing the unit is still powered on, very clear and I have not had any complaints from people regarding sound quality from their end. It mounts very securely to you visor and the display can be inverted if you need to mount upside down. The voice announcement is a nice touch but you can turn this off! It looks great and does what its supposed to do!! I can now talk legally My old Nokia charger fits (6310), so it can be charged out of the car. Promp Delivery with this item, estimated 3-5 working days delivered 2 days. Excellent.
