Note that this case is also suitable for the LX3. Panasonic are not very quick on their marketing to let this be generally known. The LX3 dimensions just a tiny bit larger than the earlier LX1 & 2 so the case is pretty snug. The case is light, semi-rigid, leatherette finished and provides a respectable level of padded protection with an inner sleeve/pocket, whilst not creating too much bulk. Personally I would prefer a different colour or range of colours, and would prefer a grey/silver option for the wrist strap to suit the silver camera colour option which I chose. However in all other respects it does the job, and is cheaper than the tailored leather case DMW-CLX3E-K, which though classy is very expensive indeed at around 80- 100.
