Great compact camera January 8, 2009 W. Barrie This is a great little camera,it is incredibly compact, simple to use and the picture quality is terrific,I bought an EXpro clamshell case for it which hooks onto my belt and it is so light that you forget it is there, fantastic price couldn't be more delighted.
It's cheap at the price January 4, 2009 N. Crawford 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I spent ages researching the Internet and reading the reviews on amazon and all I can say is that I agree with what everyone has said about the camera. I love it. Point, click and you have your picture. The Intelligent Auto feature basically means that you don't really have to fiddle around with all the settings to get the picture you want. This camera not only takes a cracking picture, it's small enough to put in your pocket or handbag. Don't look elsewhere, buy this camera.
Panasonic DMC FS3 December 24, 2008 Mr. I. Haq (UK) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
I had been searching for a new Ultra compact digital camera for a few days now, soo went on the net did hours and hours of research, carefully read all the reviews possible, made a short list of 3 manufacturers = SONY, CANON, PANASONIC, Then again did hours of comparison between the 3 premium manufacturers, finally decided on a new Panasonic Lumix FS3 Camera! because in 30 years ive never ever had a single panasonic product that has let me down (i.e broken down) Their products are incredibly reliable and robust, credit to panasonic workmanship, anyways found the best deal on amazon.co.uk, ordered and amazon delivered in less than 4 days, considering i chose the 'free' super saver delivery option, very impressed with amazon's delivery time, packaging, and very friendly service. anyway opened the box and boy i was not dissappointed with my faith in Panasonic! the FS3 looked gorgeous, soo slim it was unbelivable, and the features were amazing, picture quality second to none, panasonic's new intelligent Auto Mode iA is awesome, just set it to iA and camera will decide automaticlly on what are the best settings based on the current situation, Overall I will stick with Panasonic forever.
Good price, good camera November 26, 2008 M. Duone (Caledonia) 18 out of 18 found this review helpful
The Panasonic DMC FS3 is an 8 mega pixels camera with a 3x optical zoom lens. It makes an excellent point and shoot camera that can be slipped into the pocket and taken anywhere. I got mine for taking on holiday and it's been very useful because of its size and the quality of pictures you get. The Panasonic is very easy to use. This is a simple straightforward digital camera. Menus are bright and clear and all the key controls are at your fingertips. I was very impressed with the cameras focus under certain situations. One of the main problems with my previous digital camera was it couldn't always give you the best focus. I've tried under many different movement and lighting settings and the Panasonic handles most of them very well, certainly above average for a camera of this price. I also found, when comparing to my old camera, that the Panasonic displayed colours better, even more so in a bright outdoors picture. The only down side I could find was that the Panasonic seems to struggle when there are dark patches in a picture. If you have an area in shadows you may find the focus a little bit out. However it osn't a huge problem. For a camera this price I wasn't expecting it to be this good. I'm very impressed that a small pocket camera can do quite so much so well. Highly recommended.
Cheap and cheerful August 25, 2008 M. Chatterton 32 out of 34 found this review helpful
Bought this after losing my Canon Ixus50 (5Mega-pixel). The camera is robust and has plenty of useful features - however the intelligent mode select and anti-shake are not great. I did get better results from my Canon. However at the price its good value. Takes SD cards which are cheap and easy to plug into most laptops and the battery lasts well. Prefer the Canons picture taking ability but a good cheap digital camera.
