5 out of 5 stars Best. Game. Evar.   August 30, 2005

Well maybe not the best game ever but by far the best footy game ever.

Compared to todays standards the graphics don't measure up. Graphics, however, are not everything. The gameplay is simply awesome. I cannot begin to describe how great this game is. I played this game so much I was literally unbeatable. Seriously. Buy it. NOW!

5 out of 5 stars Perfect footy? I think so   August 8, 2000

Simply the best (unless ISS 98 was better, I dunno, I never played that one).

I love this game, because it offers so many opportunities. You can play at any one of 5 levels, varying each one by either changing goalie skill (hard/easy to score), player condition, or even how many players per team there are.

In game, there are plentiful opportunities for all kinds of goals, and you'll want to keep playing if only to better each of your efforts.

Buy it, then play and love it.

5 out of 5 stars ISS64 - Will it ever be bettered?   July 30, 2000

When people speak of the beautiful game, I find it hard to decide whether they are talking about football itself or this computerised incarnation. ISS64 was one of the first N64 titles available, it set a benchmark of excellence that has still not been beaten. ISS64 is a logistically excellent, with a simple control style that allows instantaneous play. After mastering simple plays, an endless learning curve begins. This curve is well complimented by the varying difficulties. Once you really begin to play ISS you become submerged in your own world: Shearer becomes Keegan, Ronaldo becomes Allejo. We are forgetting this was also the first four player game on the N64, the multiplayer matches stir the emotions. The graphics are clear and crisp, the sound good and the playability amazing. A game straight out the top draw at a rock bottom price. Buy it!
