DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DONT BUY!!!!!!! June 2, 2007 Jonny sterling (USA) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
PLEASE READ THIS IT'LL SAVE YOU A BUNCH OF MONEY AND TIME Well, before i got this card i read some reviews and only believed the good ones. :-) I WAS WRONG, the first time i had this card it worked for about three weeks. then it lost all my saved games. so i got another one thinking it was just that one card, but that one corrupted all my data after about four weeks. This card is not worth the trouble. I went back to the sony card and it has worked for 4 years!!!! Hope this helped
Too Unreliable December 20, 2006 A. P. Lester (London SW14) 15 out of 16 found this review helpful
I bought this card- not because it was cheaper than Sony, but because they don't make one of this size- and I don't wan't to be searching/changing memory cards all the time. I read the negative reviews about this card and thought I'd ask Datel themselves, they assured me there were no corruption problems, so I bought it. It failed on the FIRST day! Basically it will work for a while, then a save will currupt - but this ruins the whole card and you have to reformatt - losing all your other saves as well, making it effectively useless. I re-contacted Datel about this months ago, but they never answered. Roll on PS3's HDD memory! I couldn't reccomend this even if it came free, stuck on the front of a magazine.
DO NOT BUY THIS MEMORY CARD! August 24, 2006 Mr. B. Seymour (United Kingdom) 25 out of 27 found this review helpful
I brought this memory card quite a few months ago, and was glad to fit all my saved games onto one memory card. I had no problems saving games and loading them. I have recently bought Resident Evil 4 and saved the game data onto this memory card like i did with all my other games, i then tried to load RE-4 and it came up "Loading Failed, Data may be Corrupted", i tried to load it again and this message came up "This Data is Corrupted". I then tried to go into my memory card to delete my RE-4 save but it completely freezes,i have to turn my whole console off. I can't delete any of my saved games now. I strongly advise anyone NOT to buy this memory card, the Sony memory cards may be exspensive but at least their more reliable.
Some Games wont save with this card February 19, 2006 29 out of 30 found this review helpful
I got 1 of these cards a few months back after filling 3 official cards with saves and needing more room I didnt wanna keep switching my cards and I wouldnt usually go for a 3rd party card but with sony not making anything bigger than 8mb I thought I would give this 64mb card a chance I was more than happy with it at first but then I came accross a game or 2 that it didnt work with and in total now I have come accross 5 games that will not save with this card If you have atleast 1 official card and you are willing to save the odd game onto that then this is great for the rest of your games but if you dont like the idea of maybe 1 day your save game is gonna be corrupt of just not there anymore then I wouldnt recommend it
Very handy, however ... February 13, 2006 Carl Desforges 21 out of 22 found this review helpful
This is a good buy if you've got a lot of games and don't like swopping memory cards around during a gaming session. However, there are certain games that it won't work with - Resident Evil 4 and We Love Karamari will not save, so make sure you have a standard card for playing these games.
