Amazon.co.uk Review After a successful couple of outings on the PSone, it's been a bit of mystery as to what's happened to Sir Daniel Fortesque (deceased). In MediEvil: Resurrection, he returns from the grave yet again, for a welcome new PSP outing that breathes new life into his undead adventures. The MediEvil games don't do anything especially original or taxing -- they're simply very well designed action adventures with a nice line in comedy situations, particularly the craven coward that is Sir Dan himself. This PSP game is, however, completely new, with a much improved combat system and a lot more weapons to employ. Naturally the graphics are greatly improved from the PSone games, and indeed this could be the best looking of all the PSP launch titles, with some beautifully subtle lighting and impressively complex levels and enemies. The gameplay itself is a bit shallow, but played in small doses - as the portable format encourages - you're unlikely to get tired of it before the end. As an extra bonus, there are also eight wireless multiplayer mini-games, none of which are of any real consequence but perfectly entertaining with a few friends. Comedy rarely works in video games but the amusing ineptness of the "hero" marks a welcome return for one of gaming's lost sons. -- Harrison Dent

Mega! One of the best games ive played! August 8, 2006 Alex Sweetmore (Mansfield, England) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Graphics: The graphics good, not fantastic but good for a 3+ game. Sound Effects: In-battle sounds are 10/10, realistic weapon effects. The story is very realistic medieval storyline that takes place in Gallomere. It is one of the best games i've ever played, one down from Liberty City Stories though.
Brilliant Game for the PSP August 3, 2006 BeefTodd (Mirfield, West Yorkshire United Kingdom) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This game is brilliant on so many levels, but one of the best things about this has to be the humour. The best bit - Tom Baker as the narrator keeps you wanting to play just to hear his put downs. And the fact that the main character has no lower jaw means when he tries to talk, he just mumbles, so subtitles appear - genius. Its like the best bits of Little Britain, The Simpsons and South Park thrown together in an interactive world.
Great fun May 25, 2006 Mr. R. J. Gregory (UK) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
One of the most enjoyable games I have played in a long time- I keep playing it and leaving GTA in the case. The voice overs make me laugh outloud and the minigames are great for dipping into for 10 minutes.
old for new April 21, 2006 S. Bell (uk) 2 out of 7 found this review helpful
when i got this game i thought it was the continuing adventures of the main charector only to find out that its just a cleaned up port from an old old playstation game. its a good game, dont get me wrong on that. if you havent already played it then itll be a good game for you. what annoyed me was that no where on the box does it say its an old game under a new "resurection" sub-title and games are not exactly cheap, so i could have got something else instead of playing an old game i played and forgot about years ago. surprised no one picked this out in the reviews.
MediEvil the best game for PSP April 12, 2006 D. Wielgus (UK) 0 out of 5 found this review helpful
This game will bring you loads of joy. Graphics are outstanding, sound is really nice and controls are planned quite smart (anyway you want be able to play more than 6h in a row, at least my hands are getting num). Basically it's a kill-everything-around-and-dont-die-while-you-do-it type of game, but it also have parts where you really have to think how to pass further or solve something. Loads of fun for long time.
