5 out of 5 stars BUY IT!!! WHAT A GAME!!!   December 7, 2007

I bought this game off amazon about a month ago, being a bit weary because i haven't really heard much about it, but it is fantastic. Gamesplay is superb, with exciting and stimulating match play. It also makes a change from all the other tennis games, because it does not have all those unrealistic power meters e.t.c.
So to sum it up, i think that toy should buy this game because it is very enjoyable and will keep you amused for weeks.

After completing the hell out of Smash Court Tennis 2, I needed a new tennis challenge so I bought Roland Garros 2005. To point out, it uses EXACTLY the same game engine as Smash Court tennis 2 did and plays exactly the same, the only differences is the characters Roddick, Safin, Capriati and Kournikova and Williams are out and taking their places are Nalbandian, Johannson, Grosjean ,Golovin and Dokic and Dementieva. The career mode is the same as SCT2 except only the Roland Garros grandslam remains. The Roland Garros mode is the equilivant of exhibition mode in SCT2 so basically this is SCT2 but with a few changes. As a tennis fan, i would urge you to but this even if you have SCT2 as it makes a nice change to play on a number of clay courts from the grandslam rather than just the main one. So as i say, people who are looking for a decent tennis game should buy this, it is reall really good!
