Wish I had read the reviews before I bought it. January 4, 2009 K. Turton (England) I bought this game yesterday (not off amazon). It is not challenging and incredibly tedious due to the lack of variety it provides. I don't believe this game could occupy a child for long. Don't buy it, I'm trading it in tomorrow.
Fun for all December 30, 2008 Luci-Lu I would like to say not only is it challenging and fun by yourself, when you link another ds and play with someone it gets really competative not only to complete the task but to do it quicker then the other person. And if you lose the challenge you can choose your stronger task and level to beat them, which you never know if it's their weakness or not. All round fun.
Fun for kids and adults, colourful and addictive. November 27, 2008 Mr. Michael Barrett (UK) So many brain games out there to choose from but this one for my family is the best. Always found Dr Kawashima's Brain Training to be a little dull and plain, that annoying little man in spectacles and only one result (your brain age) for all that work - the games are too simple and black and white. Big Brain Academy is fun, lots of games at different levels earning medals and then the five areas totalled together to give a school like score - my 8 year old daughter has a C-, I have a C+ and the wife an A+. This is bright and fun, addictive for all! Buy it!
Nice Game! November 22, 2008 Mrs. Nicola Cowl Good Game, There is some hard puzzles in there to do! Except the only problem is..How can a Fashion Designer be better than a Calculator? My faveourite game on it has got to be the matching pairs game and also the compute section. Good game, I recomend it!
A really fun game! July 31, 2008 Suzie W (West Midlands) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
This game is suitable for all ages - and by that I do mean adults and children. We all play this game and compete head to head, which is really fun for everyone. There are lots of different mini games (15, I think!) which are split into 5 categories. In practice mode you can pick any game and you then get given a bronze, silver or gold signifying how well you have done. In test mode, you are given a random game from each category and then you are given a grade on how well you have done. Would definitely recommend this for unlimited fun!
