missing installation disc January 2, 2009 Hasher III (UK) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
Received the xbox360 within two days of ordering - impressive response as it was Christmas. Big disappointment though, as the installation disc was missing. The only disc in the box was labelled "Xbox360 steering wheel demo disc" that when installed merely ran a demo of Forza 2. No alternative other than to return the whole thing under "missing accessories". What a pity.

Great fun for all the family but also built for serious offline and online racing. A MUST HAVE
what you want to know July 19, 2008 Rhys Thomas Batt 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
just like the other reviewer said its got a fine build quality and the table mount does a fantastic job of holding it in place. the lap top mount is great but this steering wheel is really really powerfull and youll be fighting to keep it on your lap when the force feedback is on full cos it rips your arms off!. it really is great what they have done with it and initially i put off buying it because of the price but its worth every penny. remember sega rally in the arcades all those years ago? well this does an even better job of replicating the feeling of the ground,it goes heavy at slow speeds on tarmac, grass makes it slip, gear changes 'clonk' through the wheel, jumps make the wheel go light and when u hit the floor it slams through the wheel, wheel spinning of the line rumbles the wheel and even pulls the wheel to the side depending on the power distribution and on forza every car genuinly feels different. games that support this that are out right now are sega rally grid dirt pgr 3 and 4 and obviously forza 2. dirt is fantastic but its really sensitive but you can change the saturation settings to make it better, pgr 3 and 4 are perfect and grid, well thats the one let down.the game is set to 100% saturation from the start and its just impossible to drive. really really twitchy.i havent played forza 2 for months but when i had this wheel last week it has breathed new life into my games.one niggle is a slight buzzing sound coming from my headset when playing on line (fault?) could be just my one.think i might pick up sega rally, then all i need is some 14 year old chav staring over my shoulder and it will be like old times again!!(update sega rally rocks with this wheel and sucks with the joypad!)(update 2!) im still alive,no burning to death for me so looks like all that nonsense is long gone! also i have used the wheel for hours apon hours and its still in mint condition,no loose parts so well built.
Brilliant brilliant brilliant June 20, 2008 Dr. M. Hohenberg (London, UK) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
If you liked Forza and PGR3 + 4 before, you will find this brings a new level to your racing games. Since I got this a week ago, I hav barely been off Forza2 and my mates are coming round all the time to play too! A fantastic piece of kit and very very recommended to enhance all your racing games
Is It Me Or Do Microsoft Have An Overheating Problem With The 360!!!! May 24, 2008 Mr. B. Read 2 out of 5 found this review helpful
Apparently, a number of users have been having problems with the steering wheel - problems like it starting to spew out plumes of black, resinous smoke when used in wired mode. It's speculated that, since the problem only occurs when the power supply is in use, that it may not be a fault with the wheel per se, but rather a problem with the rest of the system. Microsoft has suggested that all 360 users refrain from using the wheels in the mean time and have sent out press releases to get the word out. Still, we may as well take this chance to ask: how little do Microsoft know about overheating when even the official steering wheel is bursting into flames? Anyway, overall a good unit. Fun to use - unless it bursts into flames!!!
