Quick buissiness March 1, 2008 B. Jahed (London, UK) 0 out of 4 found this review helpful
What I noticed was that this is a very rushed attempt to gain a place in the undercrowded PS3 market before burnout arrived... but now that it has there's very little point to this game, unless you really want guns on cars! Which burnout doesn't have.... something else i noticed is that the car on the cover has chop-shopped BMW 5-series headlights.
Great game for adrenaline junkies June 9, 2007 J. Colston (Hampshire) 6 out of 8 found this review helpful
If you are a person who finds normal racing games boring, like me, this is the game for you. Not only do you race with various weapons, such as rocket launchers, machine guns and flamethrowers, there are many different challanges such as gladiator fights, escorting important vehicles and killing more cars than an opponent. There are many different types of cars each with different specifications and each allowing certain types of weapons on board. Although graphics aren't amazing they are certainly better than anything on the Xbox 360. With so many different things to do (steering, throttle, primary weapon aim, secondry weapon fire, boosts and looking out for in-game upgrades) all at once you will never get bored playing this game. I highly recommmend it for people looking for something different than your usual gran turismo.
Great entertainment, but poor graphics May 29, 2007 C. N. Steer (UK) 2 out of 5 found this review helpful
My sons have had hours of fun on this highly addictive game, which is a shame as its let down by graphics which are more PS2 esque rather than PS3. Each new challenge takes some mastering before unlocking new cars with better weapons and speed. The online play works well, though we've had to wait several minutes ofr others to join. In summary, its a great game let down by uninspiring graphics. Hopefully, a 3rd is on the cards.
