Like Sega Rally of old - this game is awesome! May 9, 2008 Evan Skuthorpe (London) If you remember Sega Rally on the Saturn or even at the arcade - I'm talking about the original - you'll remember how cool it was and how fun it was with only a limited number of tracks. This PS3 version is amazing - driving, graphics, sound, all great. If you liked the original then buy this.
excellent!! April 8, 2008 Mark (Newcastle, England) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I had this for the 360 when I had my 360 and I loved it and thought the gameplay and graphics were amazing. Now I hav a PS3 and the game is even better in my opinion. Gameplay is fast and smooth, the graphics are beautifully stunning and there is loads to do and to unlock. The game is great to play and you get alot of fun out of it.
Rubbish March 28, 2008 J. DONNELLY (England) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
First game i bought on ps3 and i was dissapointed. Graphics are strange, car handling is very odd, car just seem to slide around for no reason. I got bored very quickly, took it back and bought call of duty instead.
Controls Controls Controls March 27, 2008 Gordon Smith 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Everything in there for the racer you may want... except the sixaxis avoid using the sixaxis controls like the plague - between me and two other gamers (they actually do it for a living) we ALL found them a nightmare to use. It could have defined the game but they are less than a gimmick, try them if you wish but the likelihood you will finish it with the standard setup. Without the sixaxis it is just a graphical update of the ps2 racers and that is about it.
Not bad, not good. March 7, 2008 Mr. M. D. Nash (London, UK) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Initially this is a very enjoyable game with excellent graphics and decent cars. The tracks are challenging and the deformation technology adds variety (and really shows off the power of the PS3). However, while the difficulty level in the early stages is ok, it completely ramps up as you go along (particulary after finishing the premier championship) and as such requires the patience of a saint to persevere. The main attraction of Sega Rally is flooring it and sliding round corners but the difficulty level punishes messing up one corner and condemns you to slugging it out for 3rd or 4th. If you fancy a challenge buy it for the championship mode but it still is good for a quick pick up and play blast around a few cool tracks.
