5 out of 5 stars A very very good game!   July 9, 2008
Snowy3 (UK)
As others as mentioned this game certainly didnt get the credit it deserved when it was released. It is simply fantastic! a great story line and some great characters!. I love the different types of puzzle (like the security camera ones) as it keeps your interest rather than just tooling around hitting things with your stick. I have just bought this for the second time and am not disappointed. Its a beautiful game - go try it!.

5 out of 5 stars Most under-rated games ever   June 24, 2005

Despite the low number of sales of the game it is a beauty!! The game mixes stealth (not boring, wait-around-for-ages-for-something-to-happen stealth) action, comedy and a well written story, which is aided by excellent voice acting and animation, to bring you an extremely fun and genuinly touching game. The gameplay is excellent and the game also boasts good graphics, an immersive world and many exciting plot twists.

The side quest of photographing the animals of the planet allows you witness the diversity of the world and just how much thought has gone into the game as well as making you money to upgrade your hovercraft which is extremely fun to drive ( and race in some of the other side quests).

It left me wanting more and it will do the same to you. A perfect addition to your collection, brought to you from the makers of the excellent prince of persia.

5 out of 5 stars Live it, love it   February 17, 2005

What makes the world worth saving?

You live in a lighthouse, you drive a hovercraft and you take photograhps for a living. Pretty cool... except for the army of dim-witted but disturbingly well-armed goons slowly invading your futuristic island paradise. You've been trying to ignore them... until now.

As a gamer, you enter the dark world of the Alpha Sections and the DomZ beacuse it's a game. But what you experience here isn't just a challenge to your skills as a gamer - it's the challenge to the skills of the character. You've not got a controller and an armchair - you've got a camera, a fighting staff, a couple of good friends and some natural wit and agility - and that's it. When your heart sinks at the obstacles before you... and you pause to gather your courage and examine your convictions... and then you grin from ear to ear as you pull a fast one out of the bag... they aren't the emotions of a gamer. That's empathy, and that's magic, and slowly you begin to realise:

This is a FANTASTIC world to be in. Who wouldn't want to save it?

5 out of 5 stars Beyond the best!!!   October 30, 2004

Beyond Good & Evil

Great another story based on heartless peril... or so you may think, but really it is the best game i've played in years.
Now I wouldn't promote the game and not say any of the bad parts, thats if there were any.
In truth this game provides very strong storyline, so if you just want action you won't get it.
The game consists of trying to convince people of corruption in the 'Alpha Section.'
Ok now to the serious part ?/10:
Graphics = 9/10 = So clear, best grahics in any game I' ve
EVER seen.
Music = 6/10 = Good, but gets extremely repetative.
Storyline = 9.9/10 = Strongest storyline in any game I
know.
Gameplay = 8/10 = Solid no boring parts just playing.
Playtime = 8.5/10 = It took me at least 30 hour to complete.

Hints = Whatever you do get a pearl guide off
the internet it save SO much time later (10hours.)

All in all : this is a must for any serious gamer,
GET IT NOW, OR ELSE YOU MAKE A BIG MISTAKE.

5 out of 5 stars A treat for all gamers   August 15, 2004

Simply put, this game is amazing. One of the best games I have ever played! The storyline is incredibly strong and coupled with amazing visuals and a fantastic musical score, this game really draws you in. This game seems to have been overlooked by a lot of gamers for some reason, but if you like action/adventure games in a similar style to Zelda then you will really love this. You will NOT regret purchasing this game!
