Excellent addition to the series... May 8, 2007 B. D. Smith (Surrey, UK) I was at first, a little wary of this one, the cartoony graphics gave it a childish look, like it was meant mainly for young children, however, this grew on me, and although it takes a while, once you really get into it, its awesome!!! Think Ocarina of time, in the sense that it starts well but pretty slowly, takes a while to get into, and then its just awesome!
Its Good If You Like This Sort Of Thing April 8, 2007 Mr. A. R. Castor (London, England) 0 out of 4 found this review helpful
Where do I start? I was recommended Zelda by a friend who has always played the series on all Nintendo consoles, but its not really my type of game. Very frustrating, and most of the time you wander round wandering round not knowing what to do next. The game is very vast, and also quite slow paced. No doubt this is an excellent game but if you are more of a 'put in and play' type person it will take you ages to even get off the first island and you will probably immediately think about selling it, I can imagine many controllers have been broken in pure frustration with this game. Like I say, its no doubt an incredibly deep and immense game, but not my sort of thing, very long and drawn out. If you have a month, then you may well complete it by playing it every day.
It's not just the graphics December 29, 2006 Beechy 3 out of 21 found this review helpful
[....] This just doesn't do it for me. The cel shading is ok, don't get me wrong my bad score isn't for the graphics. Although the cel shading does get rid of the previous zelda games mood/atmosphere. It handles like the other games, but what I hate about is the playability. It is easy then you enter another room and you can't get across to the door without dieing. I also hate the plot as it it isn't as dark as other zeldas. It just doesn't feel like zelda to me.
Great Zelda title November 18, 2006 Mark (Newcastle, England) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
This is another, like all the other Zelda titles, a great Zelda experience! Ok I was like the other people at first who were worried about the cel shading, but it looks different, feels different and thats good, and it plays superbly too. Loads to do here, puzzles, fighting and communicating with people. This is another hit and one you should keep in your collection! This will deffo entertain you and keep you on that gaming chair!
A work of art October 27, 2006 Fazal Ali (London, UK) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
This game is truly amazing! This one is an example of Nintendo's great imagination. It has a great cartoony graphical style, and the story is typical of Nintendo's famous Zelda series. If you have a gamecube, then this is one of the games that you want to remember it by. Superb.
