Having never slept in this type of bedding, I thought I'd get one. What a waste of money! It's only cheap, and even though it's not worth spending the money. First if you don't mind waking up every 5 min because the duvet cover is slipping away, then you might want one. Being very slippery, any movement you make in bed will make the duvet cover part slide over, most likely towards your feed and you constantly have to pull the cover back.
Also, even though if first touch is pleasant, toenails tend to catch and scratch the material, making it quite an annoying thing. I would not recommend it, spend your money on cotton or other fabrics instead.

I was looking for a silky duvet set in the shades of red for a long time, and was very happy when I saw this Burgundy Satin Duvet Set. It's not often that you see sets of 6 pieces, so a sheet and 2 extra pillowcases were a nice bonus. I wouldn't say that I found the quality to be exquisite (after all it's just 100% polyester) and I couldn't find information on where the set was made, but it's certainly a VERY GOOD VALUE for the price I paid ( 19.95 + p/p).
There are no patterns on the fabric but the rich colour makes up for it, definitely brightening up the bedroom and creating a sensual mood. The sizes of the items were exactly as described. The feel of the fabric is very SILKY and smooth. It tends to be a bit slippery though, so you'll probably have to catch the duvet trying to slip on the floor from time to time. One unpleasant surprise was that the pillowcases got stained almost immediately after contact with skin and hair, but of course you can change the pillowcases as often as you like, given that there are 4 in the set.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this set for its nice colour and smooth texture, especially to be used in summer, when the coolness of the fabric is welcome.
