Badger Headache balm comes from a company I have long had respect for, both their products and their ethos. The minty fresh but not overly sharp scent of spearmint is very helpful in soothing particularly tension headaches and the nausea associated with migraine, even if it didn't help much with migraine pain. For a normal run-of-the-mill headache, this works as well as paracetamol, and would be a useful balm to carry on long trips as it freshens the skin, eases muscle tension and cools the brow. It could be used as a general massage balm, and is pleasant on the skin.
I shall probably be carrying this everywhere from now on! Might also work well for children but I'd have to borrow one to find out!
