Small forces sing well June 5, 2004

There are 23 hymns in this selection which are beautifully and clearly sung by the choir of Keble College, which has sopranos and not trebles. Some of the hymns are old favourites, such as 'God be in my head' and 'Rock of ages', others are less well-known or have tunes which are not so familiar. It is worth having for the splendid rendition of 'Hail thee, Festival day' and especially for the magnificently clear performance of 'I bind unto myself today'.
