Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Now here's a real classic. It's a weather station. Looks like a weather station. Acts like a weather station. No special design fetish. No external modifications. Does exactly what it says on the tin. And works like a dream. Easy. Because this might be described as the perfect weather station for amateur meteorologists, we'll take it easy and keep it simple. This device works by sensing the atmospheric conditions via a remote sensor, say, in one's garden. It beams this data back wirelessly to the master unit, say, in one's kitchen. Whereupon it displays the said information visually - as big bright LCD digits and familiar weather icons. This information consists internal and external temperature and a weather forecast for the immediate period ahead, as well as the current time. By extending the number of remote sensors and deploying them within a 30 metre radius of the master unit, one can even get separate weather reports from different parts of one's garden. Meanwhile, the device's in-built radio-controlled alarm clock is a remarkably accurate timepiece, and will keep you on time come rain, hail or shine. There. Easy, wasn't it?

Good device, obvious lack October 8, 2008 AJH (London) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Just got one of these - a great device, accurate thermometer etc but has the same annoying thing as the rest of the Oregon range: they assume people in the UK don't understand the 24 hour clock so they don't give you the option to change between 12 and 24 hour format - just 12 hour which is pretty annoying!

I bought this some time ago now. The base station works fine. I have never got the remote unit to connect to the base station when it is more than 0.5 m away. I would not recommend this to anyone
