Hand-made by a family-run business renowned for it's excellent craftmanship, this beautiful canvas parasol is made using skills passed down through the generations. The wood pole is made from plantation grown Nyatoh and is hand-crafted and decorated with gold gilt paint. On the underside of the parasol, an exquisite traditional cotton-woven technique is used to create a web to cover the bamboo spokes. The pole comes in two parts, for easy storage in a cream bag. The cream canvas hood is hand-painted using traditional Indonesian designs in gold waterproof acrylic paint. Around the circumference hang 100% cotton tasseled fringe with capiz shells and beads. Diameter when open: 200cm Height: 270cm Handmade in Bali. Please note that if cotton items are left in a damp environment and not dried properly before storage, it will, like other cotton products, be vulnerable to mildew
