Product Description Compeed Advanced Healing Plasters protect cuts and grazes and relieve pain, whilst assisting the natural healing process and minimising scaring.
How do 3-in-1 Advanced Healing Plasters work? Covering cuts and grazes with a protective layer until they heal helps to speed healing. Compeed products absorb a wound's fluids and maintain an important natural moisture balance. This makes them ideal for healing. Skin cells are able to move across the wound easily - without drying out and developing into a scab - to help form new tissue faster. The extra-thin all-round adhesive on the outside zone completely seals out water, dirt and germs, whilst ensuring it stays on when wet. Simply peel off the backing and stick the dressing over the wound. The centre healing zone absorbs fluids and is clinically proven to act like an instant scab. It helps heal twice as fast and reduces the severity/probability of getting a scar.
When can I use them? For rapid healing of cuts and grazes.
Size A pack of 4 medium and 3 large plasters.

| Customer Reviews: Facing a 100 mile walk! May 28, 2010 Paul Gallagher When preparing for a 100 mile walk across England from Whitley Bay to Bowness my main fear was blisters. An experienced walker recommended Compeed. I bought this product at a very good price, and it did the trick. I developed one blister, caught it early and the plaster stopped it hurting and cleared it up in a few days although I was walking every day. I agree with some other reviewers that the plaster is liable to partly detach itself after a day's walking, but I put another one on the next morning - problem solved! Highly recommended!
I just wish they would stay stuck! May 1, 2010 A. R. Goodall 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I blister easily so I purchased these plasters ahead of a walking holiday. At the first ouch of a blister I stuck one in place only to find that it detached & rolled up into a jelly mass very quickly in my sock! Only 7 plasters to a pack so they are very expensive, very disappointing. I could only make them stay in place by over taping with micropore tape, then they were superbly comfortable, cushioned & helped the blisters to heal which were then totally pressure & pain free. (Even heel blisters!) They are individually wrapped & appear large, but opening reveals a disappointingly small plaster (even the 'big' ones), if the adhesive was more generous maybe they would have more of a chance of staying put.
The big downside for me was that 7 plasters just wasn't enough. Have a bath/shower & they come unstuck, go to bed & the morning finds them stuck to the sheets so I resorted to sleeping in socks to conserve supplies!
........... but what a fantastic idea & even after moaning I would definately buy a similar product again, It enabled me to carry on walking without any pain. That for me was an amazing result!
Don't forget a roll of micropore tape though!!!!
Indispensible for walkers February 2, 2010 R. Shaw (North West UK) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought these to put in my first aid kit when training for a 25 mile walk. I would not go walking without them in my bag now.
The thing I've learned about blisters is they can be unpredictable. A good sock/shoe combo on one day does not necessarily work on another. I always carry spare socks, sometimes spare shoes, and ALWAYS, ALWAYS blister plasters.
At the first sign, put one on over the area that is chafing. I know they're not cheap but you can't put a price on comfort when you're only 10 miles in and you can feel that familiar pinching rubbing sensation.
They stick pretty well under the circumstances, far better than regular plasters, but the padding is what makes them so good. If used early on they'll prevent a blister forming, if a blister has formed they help it drain and heal without scarring, and if it's burst they give you a second skin and protection from infection.
Indispensible for walkers. Probably pretty handy for stiletto wearers too.
