I bought this bike for a number reasons firstly my kids wanted me to accompany them on bike rides, and secondly i suffer from a stiff knee sometimes so i didnt want to shell out loads of money in case my knee wasnt up to the job,the bike was easy to put together, seat, front wheel, peddals etc.the bike is solid and ive enjoyed using it with no problem from my knee.So if your not a serious cyclist and just a occasional user and are on a budget you cant go wrong with this.

1 out of 5 stars It's worth paying more!   May 8, 2008

Admittedly, if you're paying 70 for a bike, you can't expect too much, but after buying this bike, I'm wishing I'd spent a little bit more as it's a real disappointment.

I found that the manufacture of the bike is so poor that I'm scared to cycle fast in-case it falls apart. This is evident from the start when I was assembling the bike, in particular some of the "threads" on the screws don't really match, at first this meant I couldn't even screw in the right peddle, and in the end I had to get a friend (who's a mechanic) to completely re-thread it, just to put it together.

All in all, it's a bit dangerous, and for about 50- 80 more you can get a pretty decent bike. I really recommend shelling out the extra.
