I have been a fan of the Maglite brand for about ten years when I bought a mini Maglite which continues to serve me very well. The Solitaire in this set is the most compact torch Mag produce and is made to the same high standards as the rest of the range. Using a single AAA battery it provides a good beam you focus by twisting the cap.
Victorinox multi tools are fantastic quality. I have a Climber model already. I must admit that for me the main attraction is the quality of the product. They are a pleasure to own and use. The tool in this set has a narrow blade, scissors and nail file. It's very compact and ideal for keeping on your person. When you use Victorinox scissors you will wonder why most regular scissors are so awfully made, particularly if you are left handed.
Presented in a neat case with battery and torch lead, this is an excellent set that is an ideal introduction to these brands and will delight anybody who appreciates well designed and manufactured tools.
