Customer Reviews:
Great idea, but far too bright! October 30, 2008 Angela Relle (UK) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
My daughter is just getting to the age (3 1/2) when she's afraid of the dark, and having seen these in the Guardian in an article about nightlights thought they sounded perfect. The idea is really excellent - you can use the light as a torch (to have a peek around the room if you're feeling scared in the night, or need to go to the loo), or park it in its stand and it becomes a nightlight. You don't leave the the charger plugged in when in use, so you can have the light in any part of the room. The batteries seem to hold their charge really well after a charge during the day every few days. The only thing I don't like about this light is that it's quite a harsh, unnatural light (the bulb is a white LED, I think) and it really is very bright, I would find it difficult to sleep with this next to me. My daughter seems ok with it, but I would prefer her room a bit darker. The Cars Projector Go Glow that my son has is a much gentler light, so I don't know if other designs would be better.
